This is story of many common teenagers in today’s date. What happen to those? Julie 2 is a classic example of this. As evitable from its title, the movie is the official sequel of “Julie” yet the story got its own soul and story not dominated by the earlier one. The narration begins with the life of a simple and ordinary girl (Raai Laxmi) who comes under a huge limelight and showers of success as an actress. But not everything is crystal clear in this show business, hence, she had to pay a cost for it and it is this suspense of her fate and past that marks the heart of the movie.
The movie portrays Raai Laxmi in the lead role marking this movie as her 50th film as well as her first full length Bollywood film. We can also find pleasant performances showcased by Ravi Kishan, Aditya Srivastava, Pankaj Tripathy, Rati Agnihotri and Yuri Suri.
The musical treat is presented by a number of popular and acclaimed faces of Viju Shah, Rooh Band and Atif Ali has elevated the expectations towards the release of the movie. After so much experience I would expect few 90’s number but the songs are not so.
Deepak S. Shivdasani is the director who enjoys his fame for the direction of the movies Ladaai with Aditya Pancholi, Baaghi with Salmaan Khan and Bhai with Sunil Shetty is all set to stir is creativity and hard work into the movie.
